Maschine Technology Pte Ltd, South-East Asia, Taiwan and China’s reseller for LPW Technology, the leading manufacturer of ultra-clean additive manufacturing (AM) metal powders and powder traceability solutions for the metal 3D printing industry, has been invited to sit in the AM Safety Facility Workgroup for standards work from the Standards Council and Singapore Manufacturing Federation.
The goal of this workgroup is to address the AM industry’s pain points and obstacles of setting up and maintaining the AM facility; so as to encourage the adoption of AM technology in Singapore.
The Council comprises representatives from the industry, professional bodies, trade and consumer associations, academia and government agencies. It develops consensus-based Singapore Standards and promotes them so that they are accepted and adopted by stakeholders in Singapore.
Other stakeholders include authorities and institutes like Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Ministry of Manpower (MOM), ST Kinetic/ ST Dynamic, Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Additive Manufacturing Centre (AMC), JTC Corporation, Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences (ICS), Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and UCT.
